As we all know, a school district is a reflection of the community it serves. The schools represent the strength and lasting stability of the community; they represent the hopes and dreams the community has for its future and for the future generations who will inherit the community; and they suggest the value the community places on education. As others have been drawn to Burleson, the community has grown so that they can share in its promise and now schools must respond. Burleson Independent School District has taken positive steps to address the growth and anticipate advancements in the future. The community has too by electing their support of two bond proposals which, among other things, include funds for new school facilities and school facility renovations.
